Simple care, storage, and safety guidance to help you get repeated use from your Koolagain.
Cooling Koolagain
You can prepare Koolagain in a freezer or ice chest. Some riders also keep it in a refrigerator when they want a milder cooling effect. Make sure the product lies in a position that does not place unnecessary stress on the straps, snaps, or welded edges.
Cold Only — Do Not Heat
Koolagain is designed for cold use only. Do not microwave it, place it in an oven, boil it, put it in a dryer, expose it to an open flame, or use another heat source to warm it.
Cleaning
Clean the outside gently with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution when needed. Avoid sharp tools, aggressive scrubbing, and harsh treatment that could damage the outer shell or welded edges. Allow the product to dry before storage.
Storage
Store Koolagain where it will not be punctured, crushed by sharp objects, or exposed to excessive heat. Before the next use, inspect the shell, welded edges, straps, and snaps.
Inspect Before Use
- Check the outer shell for cuts, punctures, or heavy abrasion.
- Inspect the welded edges for separation or damage.
- Check the straps and snaps before mounting the product.
- Do not use Koolagain if you see leakage or damage that could affect safe use.
If You Notice a Leak
Stop using Koolagain and contact Chill Factor. Do not attempt to heat, cut open, patch, or modify the product unless Chill Factor specifically instructs you to do so.
30-Day Limited Warranty
Chill Factor provides a 30-day limited warranty against defects in Koolagain’s fabric, snaps, and workmanship under normal intended use. The warranty period begins on the original purchase date.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by heating, punctures, cuts, abrasion, misuse, improper installation, modification, accidents, or normal wear. If you believe your Koolagain has a covered defect, stop using it and contact Chill Factor with your purchase information and a description of the issue.
